No.: 7 – Burning Through 500 Gold FAST!
I learned that it’s very easy to burn through gold when you use the NPC merchant at the marketplace… in fact, so easy that I went through about 150 gold in 1 week. This is a record for me since I don’t normally use gold for more than just the extra 25% resources.
It would be unfair to tell you this without mentioning that I built just under 8000 Imperians in 3 – 4 days with my generous allocations of NPC gold. There’s nothing better than having two barracks running 24/7 in your hammer village… These babies made up my ‘decoy hammer’ which bought me an extra day to devastate a couple more villages before I was totaled completely (enemy chiefed the wrong village)
