Where to build your palace
It would seem obvious that the palace would go best in your first village, that way you would never loose it, and could keep all your troops. But think long-term when planting it. Ideally, you would build it in a 9 crop village (9c) or a 15 crop village (15c). That way you could store a massive army keeping it safe. A 9c is handy since you would get a few good resource tiles up considerably high as well.To Your Success!

P.S. 9-crop and 15-crop villages are build so that you can have higher rates of crop that support more troops in those villages.
