How To Counter Attack

Part of the problem of raiding other players is that there could be farmers in the area stealing resources.

It’s your job to kill them off. There’s a way to do this known as a “counter attack”. I was going to explain it all, but MokMonster from the Us forums has a good explanation.

If your attacker is sending infantry at you, look at the speed of their infantry unit. (Like, legi move at 6).

I have no idea if this program exists... I just found the picture and liked it.

Find something in your army which moves at the same speed… and send at least one of those to slow everything down to that speed.

A few seconds (~10-15 is prolly best, but never more than 89) before the attack hits, send your troops away. When they are 10 seconds out, and the attack is 9 seconds away (or however you want to have it set up) cancel your attack/rein. Your troops will now return just after the attack.

You should have a 2nd browser tab or window open. Click on your opponent’s town and click “send troops”. Put all your troops that you want to attack with and hit OK once.

Dodge as described in paragraph 2. Then, the second your troops return, go to the 2nd window/tab you have set up and quickly click on OK again… that should get your troops hitting your attacker’s town about 1-3 seconds after they return home.

If you don’t have troops that move the same speed as your attacker, or you want to hit them from a different town, you’ll have to do some math, use the link provided, or set up an Excel sheet (my personal choice).

Now some boast that this tool is useful, personally I just use the above explanation when I do it myself. Please… this page is nothing but confusing.
