Building Your Second Village on Speed

Hi Dan,

First of all, your ebook has been very helpful in preparing for my 2nd village. I managed to keep raiders off me by building crannies, though it made 2 other players hate me more so now they attack me and get my troops instead (they managed to wipe me out again, just so happened their attack came in 2 seconds after my big groups came back) all good though think its normal.Just have to rebuild them again.

What I would like to ask though is how people get to their 2nd village on the 4th day on a speed server? Been raiding 24hrs for 2 days and I’m not even close. Also, I plan to remake my account and was thinking of using Romans instead. Got any advice on them? You mentioned you tried it on a speed server and did well with them.

Hey Alex,

I’ve never done it in 4 days, but I have done it in 6. It wasn’t on a newly started speed server, so there were a few lazy farms around to take advantage of. Here’s what I did:

• Since I didn’t start with pre-reg I had 72 hrs of BP instead of just 24. This way I could raid while still on BP.
• I only sent 2-3 macemen to each village. Even if they come back full I’d still only send 3 more out because by the time you send more troops (like 6 or 10) the farm has usually spent down.
• I build the required villages from Travian on Crack to get village 2 out and sent my settlers running around as they were build so they wouldn’t die.
• Raided almost 24/7. Some nights I just had to get some sleep, but with 150 macemen, small 5-10 attacks usually all die with minimum losses, so it’s all good.

That’s about it. Don’t build a hero’s mansion… or your market past level 1. Use the gold the account gives you to NPC resources so you can build more macemen.
